Bismata Bista came to our hostel facility in 2021 at the age of six. Bismata’s mom fell from the cliff and passed away while collecting grass for her buffalo in 2020. After her mom’s death, her dad went to India to work as a laborer to feed himself and his children, but has been out of touch of the family members. Because of poverty, Bismata was staying at her relative’s house before coming to our hostel. Bismata is happy to be at our hostel facility.
