Astika came to our hostel facility in early 2023 when she was five years old. Her dad died after falling from the cliff while coming home from the jungle in 2022. Astika’s family situation was extremely poor and thus she was recommended by the community members and the local government to us for her care and education. Astika is happy being at our hostel facility.
